The Navajo are the largest Native American tribe in North America, with the largest Indian reservation in the United States. The Navajo have their own unique language and culture and because of the complex structure of the Navajo language, it was used as a secret code by the US military in World War II.
During the battle for Iwo Jima in 1945 in particular, the US military turned especially to Navajo troops to use their language to accurately convey information in secret, and they became the greatest heroes of the assault on the island. This is the story told by Hong Kong director John Woo in the Hollywood movie Windtalkers.
Navajo who took part in the battle have spoken of the pride they felt in using their mother language to serve their country in World War II.

Navajo Code continues to use the classic American Indian design of Mohicans, but this time the main color is turquoise. Turquoise the stone is a sacred object for American Indians, especially the Navajo for whom turquoise is the spirit of the blue sky and the sea, and a symbol of divine power. In addition, and different to the Mohicans design, the wings on the flipside are replaced by the eagle totem symbolizing the US military in World War II. This expresses how an ethnic minority group can still retain their cultural traditions within mainstream society and make their contribution to the world.

• We recommended that the best washing method is hand washing which could extend the use life for the products.
• FLIPPOS recommend to place the socks into a laundry bag when machine washing. The water temperature should be below 30 °C and use a neutral lotion (pH between 6-8).
• Please do not use bleach, fluorescent whitening agents, clothing softeners and avoid immersion in functional detergents for too long.
• Avoid powdery detergent, because if the micro-slits on the socks are blocked, it is equivalent to losing some of the function.
• If you have any doubts about whether your laundry detergent will cause fading, please wash it separately.
• Please wash the dark and light colors separately and do not soak and dry clean.
• Avoid direct sunlight and dryers, for compression functional products, please use a dry in the shade.
